The Daedalians, Founders Flight, and our local River Region parterns are always looking for motivated individuals wanting to help in the local community. Whether it is educating youth on aerospace sciences, teaching cadets how to march, planning a STEM event, or even flying students on orientation flights, there is always a need for volunteers. If you have a passion, we have a place for you!

Even though membership in the Daedalians is limited to rated career fields in the US military, we always encourage anyone who has a love of aviation to participate in our Daedalian and partner organization opportunities. We know that a diverse group of individuals is much more capable of accomplishing something great for the community. If nothing else, we would love for you to join us at one of our lunches at the Maxwell club where you can meet with others that appreciate aviation and listen to some amazing stories! Past speakers have included former commanders, Mackay Trophy winners, and former POWs. You won't be disappointed!

We know that many of you would like to help, but your schedule just won't allow it right now. We understand! If this is the case, please consider donating to the Founders Flight scholarship fund and we will do the work for you. Administrative costs are covered by membership dues, so 100% of your donation will go towards youth in the local area, whether it be through a flight scholarship or through support of aerospace and STEM education.
